Approach

Therapy can be a place to explore what's going on beneath the surface. You may understand things intellectually, and still find yourself anxious, frustrated, or repeating patterns you thought you'd moved past. Therapy is an opportunity to get curious without judging yourself.

Maybe you learned to run faster and jump higher, be useful, avoid conflict, be strong, not take up space, or never ask for help. These strategies may have served you once, but they may not all be so helpful now.

You might want to improve your relationships or process unresolved trauma. Perhaps you're curious about how your early experiences show up in your adult relationships. It could be that you feel "stuck" you don't know why. Together we can tackle whatever challenges you face.

More than any theory or intervention, the foundation of transformative therapy is a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Sometimes you have to shop around to find the right therapist. If you think we might be a good fit, reach out and schedule a phone consultation today.
